Utah-based Clarke Capital Partners has bought a significant interest in Clearlink and will assume immediate management of the company, with founder James Clarke returning as CEO and Chairman. The investment is a partnership with Sitel Group, which will continue to support Clearlink as the parties scale the tech-enabled, omnichannel customer acquisition and CX platform.

Sitel Group Acquires Sykes Enterprises for Approximately $2.2 Billion

Sitel Group has agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Sykes Enterprises, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.2 billion, bringing the combined company to roughly 155,000–160,000 employees and expanding Sitel's global CX scale and digital capabilities. The deal, announced June 18, 2021 and completed Sept. 2, 2021, will delist SYKES from Nasdaq and position the enlarged Sitel Group as a top global customer experience provider with enhanced RPA, digital and multichannel services.
