Claranet Acquires Mandic Cloud Solutions

Claranet, the UK-based cloud and cybersecurity services provider, has acquired Brazilian cloud specialist Mandic (Mandic Cloud Solutions) in a transaction that marks a near-complete exit for investors Riverwood Capital and Oria (with Riverwood retaining under 5%). The deal — value not disclosed — brings Mandic's customers and capabilities into Claranet's Brazil operation (which will have ~R$250 million in revenue and ~450 employees post-deal); Mandic founder Aleksander Mandic sold his remaining stake and CEO Maurício Cascão stays on.
