Center Rock Capital Partners, LP acquired Power Plant Services, Inc., a Melrose Park, Illinois-based provider of aftermarket turbine components and turnkey MRO services for power generation and industrial customers. Center Rock said it will work with PPS's management to drive organic growth, expand capabilities, and pursue domestic and international growth opportunities.

MPE Partners / MSHS Acquire Pacific Power Group

MPE Partners, together with its portfolio company Motor-Services Hugo Stamp, Inc. (MSHS), has acquired Pacific Power Group (PPG), a Vancouver, Washington–headquartered provider of products, parts, and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for marine, energy, commercial and industrial equipment. The deal creates a nationwide MRO, engine and controls service network by combining PPG's Western U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and Gulf locations with MSHS's Eastern U.S., Gulf and Pacific Northwest footprint to expand geographic coverage, technical capabilities and OEM access. Terms were not disclosed.

Aurora Capital Partners has acquired Petroleum Service Corporation (PSC) from SGS in a transaction reportedly valued at approximately $335 million. PSC is a North American leader in product handling and site logistics for petrochemical, refining, midstream and marine transportation end markets, with 3,500+ employees operating across the U.S. and Canada; Aurora said it will provide capital to accelerate PSC’s growth as part of its Equity Partners V fund.
