Blade Air Mobility, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the asset-light commercial passenger transport activities of Monacair SAM and Héli Sécurité, along with a third prominent European helicopter operator. Blade will become the exclusive customer of the acquired air carriers, while the carriers retain fleet ownership and operate only the scheduled by-the-seat and charter services in southern Europe as Blade rolls out branded services and branded terminals.

TransMedics Acquires Summit Aviation to Expand Transplant Aviation Capabilities

TransMedics Group, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement (and subsequently completed) to acquire Summit Aviation, a U.S. charter flight operator, to establish TransMedics Aviation and provide dedicated air logistics for organ transplantation. The acquisition brings Summit's charter expertise and team (founder Ben Walton to join TransMedics as VP of Aviation Services) to support TransMedics' National OCS Program and expand its organ transport capabilities nationwide.

Bound Tree Medical, LLC has signed a definitive agreement to acquire QuadMed, Inc.; Bound Tree will assume full operation of QuadMed following a 60–90 day integration period. The acquisition brings QuadMed’s pre-hospital care distribution business into the Bound Tree / Sarnova family, expanding the combined company’s distribution network, product and pharmaceutical offerings, and service capabilities for EMS, fire, law enforcement and other first responders.
