Bettcher Industries signed a definitive agreement to acquire Frontmatec, an end-to-end automated protein processing equipment manufacturer, from Axcel. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2022 and is supported by additional North American capital from KKR, which previously acquired Bettcher.
