Ball Corporation has acquired Alucan, a European specialist in extruded aluminum aerosol cans and impact-extruded bottles, adding manufacturing facilities in Llinars del Vallés, Spain and Lummen, Belgium. The deal expands Ball's extruded aluminum aerosol and bottle capabilities in Europe, supports reuse/refill and sustainability initiatives, and enables cross-selling into beverage, personal care and household markets while reducing logistical CO2 emissions.
