ESW Capital, through its affiliate Wave Systems, completed an all-cash tender offer to acquire Jive Software for $5.25 per share, valuing the transaction at approximately $462 million. Jive becomes part of the Aurea family of companies to expand Aurea's customer- and employee-engagement software capabilities.

Cisco Acquires BroadSoft for $1.9B

Cisco agreed to acquire BroadSoft, a provider of cloud PBX, unified communications, team collaboration and contact center software, for $1.9 billion (paying $55 per share). The deal strengthens Cisco's software- and cloud-focused collaboration portfolio and brings BroadSoft's large service-provider customer base and cloud voice/contact-center capabilities into Cisco's applications group.

The acquisition brings Astræa's analytics and distribution capabilities into NUVIEW's data pipeline to accelerate delivery of analytics-ready Earth observation data across government and commercial markets.
