ASSA ABLOY Acquires Vigil Health Solutions

ASSA ABLOY has entered into an agreement to acquire Vigil Health Solutions Inc., a Victoria, Canada–based provider of nurse call and resident monitoring systems for senior living. Vigil, founded in 1998 with roughly 30 employees and about CAD 6 million in 2020 sales, will be integrated into ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Senior Care; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2022 and is accretive to EPS from day one.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Sennco Solutions to Expand US Retail Asset Protection Portfolio

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Sennco Solutions, a US provider of asset protection technology and retail security solutions focused primarily on the health and beauty retail segment. The acquisition strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s Retail business area within its Global Solutions division with complementary anti-theft capabilities and is expected to be accretive to EPS from the outset.

ASSA ABLOY has acquired TeleAlarm Group, a Leipzig-based provider of remote care hardware and software for the senior care and home care market. TeleAlarm—founded in 1956 with roughly 70 employees and sales of about EUR 29m in 2024—will join ASSA ABLOY's Global Solutions Senior Care business; the seller was Primepulse SE and the acquisition is expected to be accretive to EPS from day one.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires 3millID and Third Millennium

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire 3millID Corporation and Third Millennium Systems Ltd, companies focused on readers, credentials, and access control solutions for physical access. The companies—headquartered in the US (Colorado) and the UK (Wales)—have a combined workforce of about 40 employees and are expected to close in the first quarter of 2025.

The acquisition (B&B: ~60 employees; 2020 sales ~USD 14m) strengthens ASSA ABLOY's perimeter security capabilities and geographic coverage in the United States.
