Cloudera Acquires Verta's Operational AI Platform

Cloudera has acquired Verta's Operational AI Platform and hired the Verta team into its machine learning organization to accelerate Cloudera's enterprise AI roadmap. The deal brings Verta's MLOps, model catalog and GenAI tooling into Cloudera's hybrid, multi-cloud data platform to strengthen operational AI, model governance, and developer tooling for customers.

Verint Acquires Cogito

Verint completed the acquisition of Cogito in October 2024, adding Cogito’s real-time agent coaching and conversation AI capabilities to its CX Automation portfolio. Verint has already integrated Cogito technology to launch the Verint CX/EX Scoring Bot, leveraging Cogito’s ability to analyze 200+ acoustic and lexical signals to score live customer-agent interactions and improve contact center performance.

Exiger Acquires Versed AI

The acquisition integrates Versed AI's capabilities into Exiger's supply chain platform to expand multi-tier visibility and accelerate product-specific supply chain mapping for Exiger customers.

Anthropic Acquires Bun

Anthropic has acquired Bun, the high-performance JavaScript runtime founded by Jarred Sumner, to deepen integration with its Claude Code developer platform. The Bun codebase will remain open source under the MIT license while Anthropic plans to invest in Bun’s capabilities to improve Claude Code performance and developer workflows after Claude Code reached a $1 billion run-rate.

Hitachi to Acquire synvert from Maxburg (via GlobalLogic) to Accelerate Agentic and Physical AI

Hitachi, through its U.S. subsidiary GlobalLogic, has agreed to acquire synvert, a German data and AI consulting firm, as a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal is expected to close in Hitachi’s fiscal year ending March 2026, subject to regulatory approval, aiming to accelerate deployment of Hitachi’s HMAX suite (Agentic and Physical AI) and expand synvert’s footprint across Europe and the Middle East.
