Acuity Brands, Inc. acquired LocusLabs, Inc., a provider of indoor mapping and location-platform software, to integrate LocusLabs' venue mapping and wayfinding capabilities with Acuity's Atrius IoT and building solutions. The acquisition is intended to enable rapid indoor positioning, wayfinding, asset tracking and analytics for airports, event centers and large multi-floor venues; terms were not disclosed and the deal was not expected to materially affect Acuity Brands' fiscal 2020 results.
