The add-on expands TTG's engineered solutions by adding composite design and manufacturing capabilities to enable cross-selling and support long-term growth; financial terms were not disclosed.

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) has acquired Tekgard, Inc., a York, Pennsylvania-based engineering and manufacturing firm that builds environmental control systems for harsh and remote military operations. The acquisition, finalized March 1, 2021, expands ACT’s product and system capabilities in thermal management and integrates Tekgard’s engineering and manufacturing operations; Tekgard president Mike Bahn will join ACT as vice president of the Tekgard Division. Both companies will maintain employees and closely located facilities to enhance product design, engineering, manufacturing and testing.
