The acquisition—building on a strategic partnership begun in May 2022—adds real-time operations capabilities to Axon's product roadmap and supports expansion into retail, healthcare, private security and federal markets; terms were not disclosed.

Five9 Acquires Aceyus

Five9 agreed to acquire Aceyus, a Charlotte-based provider of advanced data integration and analytics, to integrate Aceyus’s pre-built data connectors and analytics into the Five9 Intelligent CX Platform. The acquisition is intended to streamline large enterprise migrations from on‑premises contact center systems to the cloud, enhance Five9’s contextual data capabilities for personalized customer journeys and support its AI roadmap; the transaction was expected to close by the end of Q3 2023.

OpenText Acquires Zix Corporation

OpenText completed the acquisition of Zix Corporation, a SaaS-based email encryption, threat protection and compliance cloud provider for SMBs, for $8.50 per share in a transaction valued at approximately $860 million. The deal expands OpenText's SMB cloud portfolio, brings roughly 5,600 managed service partners, deepens its Microsoft relationship, and is expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA and ARR.

Sophos Acquires Capsule8

Sophos has acquired Capsule8, a New York–based provider of runtime visibility, detection and response for Linux servers and cloud containers, to strengthen its Adaptive Cybersecurity Ecosystem (ACE). Capsule8's Linux-optimized runtime security will be integrated into Sophos' XDR, Intercept X server products and managed services to expand server and cloud workload protection.

Ooma Acquires 2600Hz, Inc.

Ooma, Inc. acquired 2600Hz, Inc. for approximately $33 million in cash, adding about $7 million of annual recurring revenue. The acquisition (closed October 20, 2023) brings 2600Hz's Kazoo-based UCaaS/CPaaS and CCaaS capabilities into Ooma's cloud communications platform to expand product capabilities and reach service providers and resellers.
